John Barrowdale presents "The Unknown Warrior - A
Progress Report "
A digital talk provided by
the Patriot New Build Project, tracing the history of the locomotives and the
trials and tribulations of building a new one which has been ongoing since
2008. Different from the talk for RCNF on 26-04-13 when we hoped to have it
ready by 2018 and then embarrassingly missed both that date plus the ones in
2019 and 2020 to mark 100 anniversaries with connections to WW1 by big margins.
Much has happened since and we have definitely turned a corner now and have the
right people involved to have it ready for 2026 (maybe!).
