takes us on a railtour in “Cuba 1993” which took place between 5th - 19th March, led
by Bill Alborough, the founder of TEFS
(To Everywhere For Steam). They visited 18 sugar mill railways during the
course of that holiday plus Lenin Park Railway in Havana plus a few National
Railway Operations with diesel haulage. Most of the sugar mill railways operated
with American built locomotives, mainly Baldwin and Alco built in the first 25
years of the 20th century. There will be a few scenic pictures as well mainly
taken at where they stayed in Havana, Santa Clara, Ciego de Avila and Varadero.
