Transport around the World - a presentation by Ian Copplestone
A programme showing some of the forms of transport that may be encountered during a circumnavigation of the world.
We journey through the Caribbean, transit the Panama Canal (as seen above), call at San Francisco, cross the Pacific to Sydney, fly over the Great Barrier Reef, continue to Hong Kong and return via Suez.
We shall see trains, planes, buses and trams - some of which are everyday, while some are downright wacky. Hopefully there will be something to interest everyone!
(** Members will be will be circulated with Zoom invitations a week in advance. Non-members please contact us to request an invitation.)
