Can you help?

New Milton is a market town on the edge of the New Forest.  Remarkably, it grew up around the railway station, the name allocated by the local post-mistress.

The town is keen to develop a Heritage Centre to reflect the history of the area, and has plans to create a focus by developing the (currently redundant) Station-Master's House, adjacent to the Railway Booking Hall.

The RCNF has been approached and invited to contribute material to illustrate the part played by the railway in the town's history.

Find out more about this exciting development in an article by the local newspaper.

Any and all kinds of material will be welcome -

Photos and documents of all ages

Memories and stories, written or verbal.

Railway memorabilia.

If you can help in any way, the Club and the Town will be most grateful.

Please contact the Club via this website, using the Contact page provided - THANK YOU !!!
