Bursledon Brickworks

The weather was kind, and thankfully we had fine and sunny conditions for the trip.   The tour was well presented and gave a fascinating insight into the history and processes involved.   We were able to see the steam engine at work, driving some of the impressive machinery once used to produce thousands of bricks which were used to build the conurbations around the area.
